Velocity, Columbia Medical Center’s ride to end cancer, takes place on Sunday, October 7th, 2018. It is more than a cycling event. It is the idea that we are more than the sum of our parts, and when we come together, we gain momentum. Through that, we can make something big happen. We can even end cancer.
The Herbert Irving Comprehensive Center of Columbia University is on the cutting edge of cancer care and research. Their goal is to solve cancer. By riding 10, 25, 45, or 62.5 miles and raising essential funds to support HICCC, participants are fueling the doctors, researchers, and patients in their quest to end cancer. Riders will prove the power of Velocity by merging and coming together at the finish line at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
