Smilow Cancer Center: The First 5 Years.Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven has accomplished so much in just their first five years. Since opening, they have 110 active clinical trials, 115 new physicians, over 30,000 patients, and 10 new cancer centers across Connecticut.
The hospital believes in not accepting the way cancer has been treated in the past, but thinking about how they can make innovation for the future and change the outcome of cancer. The commitment to clinical trials and the commitment to research underlies everything they do.
