Closer to FreeThe Smilow Cancer Hospital “Closer to Free” Flash Mob took place at the Union Station in New Haven, CT. The song, “Closer to Free” by The BoDeans filled the station one busy day, and commuters couldn’t help but be in awe of this inspirational performance.
The station was full of participants of all ages and backgrounds, including students and cancer survivors. They started off as strangers and ended the day with hugs and showing the power of support. Their harmonies filled the room and their choreography turned it into a dance floor.
