“I AM MORE THAN CANCER” CONTINUES PARTNERSHIP WITH HERBERT IRVING CANCER CENTER
Similar to its 2017 campaign, this year FundLove is supporting Columbia University Medical Center’s Herbert Irving Cancer Center, by sponsoring and promoting its Velocity bike ride to end cancer. This year’s event will be held on October 7th.
Riders will bike 10, 25, 45, or 62.5 miles throughout Northern New Jersey, over the George Washington Bridge, and into Manhattan, in order to raise funds for cancer care and research. Last year’s ride raised $1.4 million and this year ride coordinators hope to far surpass that total.
100% of the funds raised will be used to accelerate personalized patient care and integrative services that improve the patient experience and to help fund essential infrastructure to empower precision oncology with the goal of improving treatment outcomes for cancer patients.
